The Pharaohs of Kemet rewarded their officials with golden collars and other gifts. The Per A'a MeryetDjheuty Thais Sobkneferu, following in the footsteps of her predecessors in Qenbet, continues this tradition by bestowing several awards.
Most notably are the two Gold of Honor badges given by Her Majesty as rewards for outstanding contribution and efforts in Qenbet. The first is the Jeweled Collar which is presented to members for writing, role-playing, web page design and commitment. The second award is the Golden Fly. In ancient Egypt this was a gift for military valor. In Qenbet this badge is awarded to members who have made noteworthy non-roleplay contributions. Both awards are accumulative, and Per A'a may bestow more than one gift for outstanding service to a worthy subject.

Since it is the board's aim to encourage not only quality writing but a broad range, from serious to humorous posts, from posts about court life to posts about the everyday life of a peasant farmer we will be using these criteria. Any post or series of posts that relay a good story, show imagination in choice of subject, show a certain degree of historical accuracy, are obviously part of a well thought out collaboration between other Qenbet characters or are reactive posts that are part of a carefully organised plot/subplot will be considered for an award.

This award will be made to any individual whose character's homepage design is deemed by the board to be not only beautiful, well designed or cool but reflecting the nature of Qenbet and Kemet. Anyone can nominate another Qenbet character's home/per.
